Tasks

Below you will find a selection of tasks to choose from, it is advised you complete at least one task each week, consult with a care giver to ensure you have the required materials. When you complete your chosen tasks, ensure you take a photo and keep a record of your work, this will help you build an educational portfolio.

Awareness Leaflet: Create an informational awareness leaflet which answers the question “How can bias impact the way we make decisions or treat others?”, this leaflet should be aimed at educating readers.

Poster Design: Create two posters, one that gives examples of objective language, and one that gives examples of subjective language.

Media Analysis: Look up advertisements, news articles, or social media posts, and assess the language used, identifying any biases or subjective language present. Make notes of your assessment and subsequent conclusion clearly demonstrating how you arrived at your findings.
