Below you will find a selection of tasks to choose from, it is advised you complete at least one task each week, consult with a caregiver to ensure you have the required materials. When you complete your chosen tasks, ensure you take a photo and keep a record of your work, this will help you build an educational portfolio.

Task 1

Habitat Picture Book: Create a picture book showing different habitats, such as rainforests, savannas, and coral reefs, and the animals that live in each one.

Task 2

Draw and Label Habitats: Draw pictures of various habitats (e.g., polar regions, wetlands) and label the key features, such as the types of plants and animals found there.

Task 3

Habitat Diorama: Build a diorama inside a shoebox representing one of the habitats, like a coral reef, including fish, coral, and other sea creatures.

Task 4

Rainforest Layers Poster: Study the different layers of the rainforest (emergent, canopy, understory, forest floor) and create a poster that shows what animals live in each layer.

Task 5

Compare Two Habitats: Write or draw a comparison between two habitats, such as a polar region and a desert, and explain how they differ in temperature, plants, and animals.
