Creative Writing Week 2

Your goals this week:

Imagine you are Emily, from the story Penning Magic, write the formal entry letter she mentions which begins “Dear Sir or Madam,”.

In the story Emily states that the letter “carefully articulated her passion for storytelling and her eagerness to share her tale with the world. With each sentence, she infused her letter with sincerity and enthusiasm.”

You should also aim to include the following:

• Produce a piece of creative writing which includes the following elements:

  • Words with sub- and miss-
  • Words with -able and -ible
  • At least one word from this week’s spelling list: story, vibrant, shimmering, imaginative, insatiable, iconic, prestigious, famous, envisioned, extraordinary, determined, enchanting, accompany, guidance, persuasive, eagerness, numerous, anticipation, doubt, astonishment, confidence, surrounded, erupted.
